ARTIST STATEMENT:
This is my 5th time as a participating artist in the Shrinky Dink Show. It is always an honor and pleasure to be a part of. And I must say, this piece is not only my favorite Shrinky Dink piece that I have made, but also one of my favorite wall hangings that I have made to date. I love exploring new ways of unconventionally manipulating the Shrinky Dink paper and turning it into an almost unrecognizable material. In this piece, the Shrinky Dink took on a playful, almost ribbon like form that stands out from the other colorful and rigid materials.
